About

I was an elementary and middle school math teacher in New York City for several years.  My love of teaching and experiences in schools made me want to research ways to better support students and teachers so I pursued my Ph.D. in mathematics education at NYU.  I also began my coaching journey and started to implement different collaborative strategies for coaches to use with teacher teams.  Currently, I am an assistant professor at Hunter College where I teach and develop high quality clinical experiences for pre-service educators, while also conducting research on professional development.  I also continue to work with schools and districts to provide collaborative coaching and professional development supports for in-service teachers and administrators.
